Elevator Mechanic-Restricted

General Description

License required for a person to work erect, construct, alter, replace, maintain, repair, remove or dismantle conveyances.  An Elevator Mechanic-Restricted shall be limited to the repair and maintenance of conveyances and the replacement of conveyance components and subsystems except the replacement of hoist ropes and governor ropes.

Original	Applies to persons who repair and maintain conveyances and the replace conveyance components and subsystems except the replacement of hoist ropes and governor ropes.
Renewal	Applies to persons who repair and maintain conveyances and the replace conveyance components and subsystems except the replacement of hoist ropes and governor ropes.
Replacement	Duplicate credential for a person already an Elevator Mechanic-Restricted.
Modification	Modification of a credential to show change of name or address for a person who already is an Elevator Mechanic-Restricted.
