Original or Renewal license for a contractor who procures vegetables from producers for use in processing must hold a vegetable contractor license. "Contractor" includes a food processing plant or a handler who procures vegetables for sale to a processor.

Financial statement requirement
If the contractor procures more than $500,000 of vegetables for producers or producer agents during the most recently completed fiscal year, a reviewed or audited annual financial statement is required. If the contractor procures more than $4,000,000 of vegetables from producers or producer agents during the most recently completed fiscal year, an audited annual financial statement is required.
