A driveway permit is required for any abutting property owner that qualifies for a direct access from their property to a state highway. Persons, companies, counties and municipalities needing to do work within limits of state highway right-of-way must have prior permit approval.

The proposed work shall conform with all applicable state and federal policies and laws and be consistent with the safety and convenience of the highway users at all times.
