Electrician, Journeyman

General Description

Allows an electrician who will be working under a master electrician to obtain a license at any municipality without local examination. Local municipalities decide whether certification is required.

Type	License Type Description
Original	Applies to persons who seek electrical certification and have at least 5 years experience in electrical construction work.
Renewal	Applies to persons who seek electrical certification and have at least 5 years experience or have completed the electrical construction apprenticeship.
Replacement	Duplicate credential for a person who already is a Journeyman Electrician.
Modification	Modification of a certification to show change of name or address for a person who already is a Journeyman Electrician.
