Detailed Information for : Nurse, Registered
Description:
License required for a person to perform acts of professional nursing, which requires substantial nursing skill, knowledge or training, and experience in the application of nursing principles. The license holder is referred to an R.N.

Duration:
Two years. Renewal due date is February 28 or 29 of each even-numbered year.

Valid Wisconsin credential or license (see initial application information)  
Application Form(s):
Renewal notice is mailed 6 weeks before the renewal due date. For example, you receive a renewal notice on January 15 (of an even-numbered year) to be renewed by the deadline date of February 28 (of an even-numbered year). Special renewal requirements are listed on back of renewal form.
